This is our brand new website. It is a work in progress! The not yet formed Public Relations/Community Relations Committee (PR/CR) will be responsible for updating and maintaining this website. Hopefully this site will become your source for AEA information. As the head of the PR/CR, I hope to include a calendar of events and scheduled meetings as part of the calendar on the home page. The information I hope to share with you includes: our collective bargaining agreement (CBA or contract), AEA bylaws, agendas for meetings, minutes from meetings, monthly treasurer’s reports, and updates from our bargaining team.
We need you to get involved. There is no union without U! We need people for the PR/CR who can help update this website. We want you to be involved in our Contract Action Team; a committee to show our solidarity around getting a great new contract. We need social events so that we can share ideas and strengthen our union; are you social? Would you want to plan a social event sponsored by an MTA grant? We need your talent. We need your input.
